When Leif first came to Mercy Dental Missions in 2020, years of severe dental erosion had significantly damaged all of his upper teeth. Everyday activities like eating and smiling had become increasingly difficult, and restoring his oral health would require extensive treatment.



His treatment plan was not one that could be completed in a few visits. Restoring his smile would take time, careful planning, and a long-term commitment from both Leif and his dental team.

Over the next six years, Leif faithfully returned for appointment after appointment, trusting the process even when the finish line still seemed far away. Step by step, his treatment progressed as his smile was carefully rebuilt.

In total, Leif received 14 crown and bridge units, restoring both the function and appearance of his smile.

Today, Leif can smile with renewed confidence, eat more comfortably, and enjoy the everyday moments that so many people take for granted.
